Researchers at the University of Saskatchewan are conducting a study titled “Assessing the need for pediatric gait analysis in Saskatchewan: A mixed methods needs assessment”. This study aims to identify service gaps, access barriers, and priorities for pediatric walking assessment to develop an equitable, province-wide pediatric walking assessment strategy.
Your insight may be a valuable contribution to this work! This study is recruiting from the following groups:
· Allied health professionals and physicians who assess and treat pediatric patients with disabilities, injuries, or diagnoses that directly impact their walking ability;
· families or support persons of children who live with a disability, injury, or diagnosis that causes a walking impairment, which may be permanent or temporary;
· and individuals with lived experience of having difficulties walking as a child for at least 3 months.
